Welcome to the Aftermath. The series that follow take place in the years following the Third Robotech War, proving that the human race still doesn't need alien invasions to cause hell to reign on its home planet. Most of the series take place in the same continuous stream, essentially in the timeline of the novels by Jack McKinney (published by Del Rey and out of print, though still common in most better-stocked bookstores), but contrary to the final book in the cycle, Robotech #18: The End of the Circle. The only series that doesn't follow from this chronology of events is Sentinels: Rubicon, which essentially follows the timeline adopted by Robotech.com. This series was also cut short at two issues from its planned seven issues. Go figure.
