THE LOWDOWN

As a U.N. shuttle sets off from Luna Base to check the Flower of Life pollen count on Earth, the Invid arrive in Earthspace to lay claim to the Flower. Their force speeds towards the Earth, taking the shuttle and its two-person crew with it. When the shuttle crew reaches the planet, they ruminate on the past several decades of Earth history as they explore one of the craters the Earth's new invaders have left behind.

BACKGROUND INFO

Robotech #10 I believe Alex Fauth said it best on the main page of the Mystery Ruins Theatre 2135 website, in his introduction for his upcoming riffing of Tigercat: Variants: "Also contains some backup panels. Not a story, mind you, just some random panels."

It says a lot about a story when the first installment contains no author credit, and the third and fourth installments don't even have the story's title. It looks like it was inked in crayon, and that wouldn't be so bad if something understandable was actually happening and the coloring was any good. However, the coloring is about on the same level as The Macross Saga ten years earlier, if even to that level. At least in The Macross Saga, character hair colors didn't usually change entirely from one issue to the next.
